Details: "The Veterans History Project of the American Folklife Center of the Library of Congress collects, preserves, and makes accessible the personal accounts of American war veterans so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand the realities of war" loc.gov/vets. WDVA's Veterans Training Support Center is collaborating with the Office of Congressman Adam Smith to host this unique Veterans Day event. The workshop will provide an overview of the Veterans History Project and train participants on interviewing techniques and technology skills necessary to interview veterans on their time in the military and submit these narratives for archiving at the U.S. Library of Congress.
